Description
Duygu Yenerim, Ph.D. architecture student, will discuss her research of vernacular building traditions in the colonias, impoverished villages along the Texas-Mexico border 4p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2 in room 311 at the Glasscock Library.
Yenerim is exploring how colonias houses reflect culture and social identity with an aim of proposing housing improvements to increase living standards.
