The Department of Computer Science and Engineering will honor Dr. Bjarne Stroustrup on his promotion to Distinguished Professor. He received this honor in recognition of his contributions to computer science and software development at Texas A&M University. His elevation to Distinguished Professor is a very noteworthy achievement as it signifies the excellence and quality of his teaching and research in programming languages.
