Texas A&M and the Texas Tribune have partnered to sponsor a day-long symposium about the major issues confronting higher education in Texas over the next five to ten years. What is next on the curricular front, on redefining the college/university experience, funding and dealing with Texas’ changing demographics. Speakers include Texas A&M System Chancellor John Sharp, Texas A&M President R. Bowen Loftin, House Committee on Higher Education Chair Dan Branch, Senate Committee on Higher Education Chair Kel Sellger and Texas Higher Education Commissioner Raymund Paredes.
