Please be sure to register for each individual session that you wish to attend (total of 6 sessions). Are you looking for a professional development activity related to teaching that is accessible and convenient? The Faculty Teaching Academy (FTA)currently in its eighth yearallows you to benefit from the experience of colleagues, representing a variety of disciplines, who have distinguished themselves as excellent teachers at Texas A&M University. The FTA is designed to give you the opportunity to hear and see how your peers approach teaching and learning, and gain ideas you can use in your own classrooms. The sessions are highly interactive and informal. The program encourages you to schedule a classroom visit to see these recognized teachers in action. A certificate of completion is also available for your records. Professor Jeff Conant, the FTA founder, described it as an inspiration and believed that inspired teachers are more likely to inspire learners. Interested?
