Description
This annual meeting and science competition allows high school students (grades 9-12) from across the state to present their original research in a 12-minute oral presentation delivered to a panel of expert judges. Research efforts are divided into several categories in two major divisions: natural and physical science/engineering. A selection process narrows contestants down to 10 per category. The top three finishers in each division receive travel awards and an invitation to attend the national conference of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
