Description
The Mitchell Institute in the Department of Physics and Astronomy hosts monthly star parties during which we take telescopes to different locations around campus and provide the opportunity for the public to look through a telescope at the night sky. Anyone with an interest in the mysteries of the night sky are invited to look through a telescope and find constellations. Join us each month and during the first-quarter Moon! Look through our computerized telescopes and see the stars and planets like never before! Witness the stunning detail of the Moon and its craters and shadows, and gaze upon distant nebulae and galaxies! No science background necessary, just come see the beauty of the night sky!
Location

Directions: Meet us on the front lawn of Sbisa Dining Hall on the Northside of Campus!
