Coordinated by the Office of Graduate & Professional Studies, New Graduate Student Orientation offers an overview of what to expect at Texas A&M--including information on policies, procedures, resources, and services on campus and in the community. The program is offered on two different dates; participants may choose either date to attend until capacity is reached in Rudder Theatre.
During the program, participants will meet campus leaders, administrators, and fellow graduate students. It is open to all admitted graduate students--domestic and international--for the Fall 2013 semester.
There is no onsite registration fee to attend. (A $50 new graduate student fee is charged to all new graduate students and is included in the semester's fee statement.) Participation is on a first-serve basis until Rudder Theatre capacity is filled. To register, go to http://ogs.tamu.edu/incoming-students/new-student-orientation/
Room: Rudder Theatre Complex & Memorial Student Center (MSC)

Some departments and colleges have a separate orientation for their new graduate students. For information on departmental or college orientations that provide details for specific graduate programs or majors, students should check with their graduate advisors or other departmental staff.
