Description
Celia Sandys, the granddaughter of Sir Winston Churchill and an internationally acclaimed author, journalist, and television presenter, will present a public lecture featuring excerpts from some of Churchill's most famous speeches. Hear in Chuchill's own voice the words that helped lead England and its allies through the depths of World War II. This Community of Scholars event is sponsored by the Texas A&M University Press and the Office of the Provost. The lecture is open to the public and is free of charge. Tickets are required and may be secured in person at the MSC Box Office in Rudder Tower.
