The cadets march from their dorms on the Quad through main campus and West campus to Texas A&M's Animal Science Teaching, Research & Extension Complex near the east bank of the Brazos River. After the first leg of the march, cadets participate in various competitions, eat lunch and transfer ranks for the upcoming school year.
