Description
HSARPA S&T Opportunities in ChemBio, Borders and Maritime, Cyber, and other areas
Discussion moderator: Dr. Robin Murphy
This discussion will repeat a recent presentation by Paul Benda, Director of HSARPA at DHS S&T to the EDGE Consortium; HSARPA is intended to be the DHS version of DARPA, though a bit more focused on shorter term results. The presentation includes an overview of key areas of HSARPA, how grants are scored, and how to leverage the CEI's role as the EDGE Innovation Center for Emergency Informatics in technology transfer. The intent of the followup discussion is to enable CEI faculty to identify new projects (and cross-disciplinary teams) to pursue for funding through HSARPA.
