2018 Research Career Symposium for Women & Underrepresented Groups

Keynote Speaker: Carrie L. Byington, MD Vice Chancellor for Health Services, The Texas A&M University System Senior Vice President, Texas A&M University Health Science Center The Jean and Thomas McMullin Professor and Dean, Texas A&M College of Medicine   This day and a half workshop, intended primarily for junior faculty, postdocs, and graduate students, will provide mentorship and guidance on building a successful research career. There is a focus on those who identify as part of an underrepresented group and/or as a woman, but everyone is welcome. The symposium will provide participants with an opportunity to hear from a diverse group of expert speakers with ample time for networking, discussion, and an exchange of ideas with peers from across the state. The cost of the symposium is $35 per person which includes breaks, 2 continental breakfasts and 1 lunch. Register Online
