\n Facilitators:<\/strong> Dr. Marcia Montague, School of Education and Human Development and Dr. Clint Patterson, Center for Teaching Excellence.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n \n Literature indicates faculty often are not trained for their crucial role of mentoring. At this session you will gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed for this important role. Using competencies developed by the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER), this particular session will focus on the \u201cSupporting WellBeing\u201d competency in mentoring. Do you have questions about the ethical considerations instructors should be aware of when using generative AI in the classroom?

\n This workshop series invites faculty members from diverse disciplines to come together and explore the multifaceted landscape of generative AI. Through a series of engaging discussions and presentations, we will explore themes such as AI literacy and informed decision making, guidelines and policy for integrating AI in the classroom, responsibility and boundaries of AI-generated content, and ethices. Whether you\u2019re an expert in the use of AI or just curious about the possibilities of AI, this workshop series promises to broaden your horizons. The workshop sessions take place on a weekly basis, rotating through different days each week.\n<\/p>\n
